Service Overview
Coastal Concierge is your dedicated vacation grocery concierge—never a retailer or app. We shop for your groceries at your request, bill you at store cost, and always provide receipt transparency.
While most orders are fulfilled through Trader Joe’s Wilmington, additional grocery stores may be included with our optional Store Hop Add-On.
Groceries are purchased on your behalf and delivered as scheduled. In-home fridge and kitchen stocking is available for guest and arrival services only and is not included with local delivery orders.
We do not operate as an affiliate, retailer, or delivery app.

Store Hop Add-On Policy
The Store Hop Add-On allows clients to include one additional specialty grocery stop beyond our primary store service as well as 10 more unique grocery items.
This service is designed for specialty, hard-to-find, or premium grocery items not general retail or big-box shopping.

• Trader Joe’s
• Whole Foods
• The Fresh Market
• Harris Teeter (specialty items only)
• Local markets, bakeries, butcher shops, seafood markets
• Specialty health or organic food stores
These locations are selected to provide unique food products, dietary-specific items, and premium ingredients not easily sourced through standard delivery platforms.
Non-Eligible Stores:
• Walmart
• Target
• Costco / Sam’s Club
• Home goods or department stores
• Electronics retailers
Coastal Concierge operates as a grocery concierge service, not a general retail courier.
Eligible Purchases:
• Groceries and food products
• Beverages (including alcohol where legally permitted)
• Specialty diet items (organic, gluten-free, etc.)
• Bakery, deli, meat, and seafood items
• Household food-related goods in small quantities (foil, paper goods, etc.)
Restricted Purchases:
• Electronics (TVs, speakers, gaming systems, etc.)
• Furniture or large household goods
• Bulk warehouse quantities
• Appliances
• Tobacco products
• Pharmacy or prescription items
• High-theft or high-liability items
• Any single item over $200 without prior approval
Quantity Limits:
To maintain delivery quality and scheduling:
• Orders must remain within standard grocery-sized quantities
• No bulk resale orders
• Large event or party orders require pre-approval
Service Scope:
Coastal Concierge operates as a personal grocery shopper, not a retailer, wholesaler, or logistics company. Approval of items will happen before payment. We reserve the right to decline items or store requests that fall outside the scope of grocery concierge services,
Unique Item Definition
A unique item is a distinct product, regardless of quantity (e.g., 3 of the same almond milk = 1 item).
Each flavor, size, or variation counts as a separate item (e.g., chocolate and vanilla yogurt are 2 items).
Simple example: 2 loaves of the same bread = 1 item. 1 regular, 1 gluten-free = 2 items.
Item & Store Policies
One item equals one product or SKU. Quantities of the same item do not count as multiple unique individual items or SKU's. Unique Definition above
Item limits are enforced to ensure timely service. Base service includes Trader Joe’s Wilmington.
One additional store may be added. No third-store requests.
Grocery Costs & Payments
Groceries are billed at store cost never marked up.
A shopping deposit may be required before we begin. You’ll receive a detailed final invoice with digital receipt documentation.
Shopping starts only after your Intial payment is confirmed. Remaining balances are due after delivery with the card on file.

Coastal Concierge is an independent personal shopping and delivery service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with Trader Joe’s®, Publix®, Harris Teeter®, Whole Foods®, Instacart®, or any other grocery retailer. All trademarks and brand names are the property of their respective owners and are referenced for customer convenience only.
Alcohol Policy
Alcohol may be purchased as part of your grocery order for clients age 21+ with valid government ID at delivery.
All alcohol purchases are subject to North Carolina law and store policy. We do not resell or provide alcohol as a standalone service, act solely as your shopping agent, and all purchases are billed at store cost. Requests may be declined if legal requirements are not met.
Access Authorization
By booking, you authorize Coastal Concierge to access your delivery location using provided door codes, lockboxes, or front desk coordination.
Service is not responsible for failed delivery caused by incorrect, missing, or delayed access information.
Service Limitations & Discretion
Limitation of Liability: Coastal Concierge is not responsible for manufacturer defects, spoilage, allergic reactions, product recalls, or issues related to store packaging.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled shopping/delivery may be non-refundable. Service availability depends on store inventory, staffing, traffic conditions, and scheduling.
Fridge restock services require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice prior to guest arrival. Same-day fridge restocks are not guaranteed and may be declined.
Substitutions may be made unless explicitly prohibited in your order notes.
Time-critical or expedited requests may require upgraded pricing or may be declined.
Exceptionally large, complex, or unrealistic requests may be declined at our discretion.
Delivery windows are estimates and may be adjusted as needed Client is responsible for ensuring property access at the scheduled delivery time. Delays caused by access issues (incorrect codes, unresponsive contacts, locked properties) may result in rescheduling.
Grocery and alcohol costs must be paid by delivery. Failure to remit payment may result in delayed or withheld delivery.
If clarification is required and the client cannot be reached in a timely manner, substitutions or order adjustments may be made at our discretion, or the order may be paused until confirmation is received.
